Firstly,

Happy Eid Mubarak to all Muslims around the world

Had the progress monitoring presentation recently. Somehow I don't know what the panels want. They asked about the reagents that I used. I don't mind when they criticized my research but please respect my field of research. If I want to do it according to your way, I would choose you as my supervisor, not my current supervisor. Can't say much - they were my lecturers long time ago. Just need to keep all the feelings inside. 

Spend the weekdays in the lab

When can I have time for my own

Frankly speaking, I'm kind of demotivated a little bit since I lost my dad

My one of the biggest supporter

I get distracted from my commitment quite easily

And then I keep focus back on my study

As I knew if he's still alive, he would not like to see me like this

But the cycle continue

Since my hands got tied by the government - due to the scholarship, really need to focus on my study and try to finish it on time - I don't know if I can make it or not.

BBQ And Steamboat For Dinner

Currently watching Korean drama entitled Let's Eat. Each episode shows different Korean cuisine. You can watch it here. 

It made me craving for the same meals as in the drama. One of the cuisine is raw crab marinated in soy sauce. Unfortunately, the lifestyle of a student limits everything. The price of raw crab is about RM25 per kilo. The number of crab per kilo is totally depended on the weight of a crab - mostly only 3 crabs per kilo. So, can't eat much.  

The stupid me is always starving for the whole day just to have dinner at Seoul Garden - Korean style BBQ buffet restaurant. Well, for the student, the price is RM36.90 per person. That amount of money enable me to survive for 3 days. Went to the closest outlet at Setia City Mall.

Me and my sister were also having the seafood - crabs, bamboo clams, prawns, squids, half shell mussels. Made few lettuce wraps for myself - put the meat, side dish, sauce in a lettuce leaf, wrap it and eat it. My phone was running out of battery due to the photography. 

It's quite worthy to have meal in this restaurant serve the food in buffet - mentioned earlier. So, you can eat as much as you want. 

Full Of Regret And Frustration

It has been a while. Just recovered from fever. Well, many people have a fever lately due to the climate.

Went to Sunway Pyramid today. I think it has been a month since the last day I hang out. with friend. Same thing again - having Korean food at Asian Avenue. And then, window shopping. It's on the mid of the month. Even though I just got my monthly allowance, it doesn't mean I can spend much. Accompany my friend to the Nichii outlet. She is so addicted to this store. She said the clothes are nice and beautiful. Well, that's a statement of fashion slave. As for me, rather be book slave - just love the smell of a bookstore. From what I can see, the store doesn't have much Muslimah-style of clothes. They sell kind of the tight one (body shape style) even though the size is XL. That's why I wonder why she loves such fashion since her mom is a ustazah (person who teach religion at school). Weird huh. I guess that the power of fashion. 

 Looking for the Cold Storage outlet since it is on the directory board. According to the board, it's next to Jusco. But can't find it. Doesn't matter because Jusco do have Korean products. From what I heard from a friend of mine, CJ product are halal. So really excited to buy them so that I could make my own bibimbap - mixed spicy rice. 

I bought this ones.

- Hot pepper paste

- Sesame oil

Unfortunately, when I want to keep them refrigerated, I was happened to look at the ingredients' part . Oh my god, the sauce and paste contain cooking rice WINE.  Hell, no. I can't eat these stuffs. It is not allowed in Islam. Really frustrated. Feel so damn stupid - why didn't I look at it first before buying. Now, it's just a waste of money. 

I guess God still love me since I realize it before use them on my cooking. Should just use the local made products after this. Sigh. 

The Pain Is Killing Me - Wisdom Tooth

The lower part of my mouth are in pain especially the back end of tongue. Due to the weather, I thought it's just ulcer. But it's kind of weird since it was the back end of the mouth. During the night, I feel ill - weak and feel cold in cold weather. Asking my sister to put her hand on my forehead and neck. She said my body was slightly hot. So, I have a fever. Drank half a bottle of 100plus  and plain water. Fell asleep after some times. 

Since it was study week, decided to come home for few days. I can't eat well since the pain is not totally relieved yet.  When I brushed my teeth, still feel the pain. Look into the mirror, the wisdom teeth was there. No wonder I feel such pain.  But my gums was swelling too.  Search about it on Google. I read some blogs in which they were sharing about the pain too. Some of them even went into a minor surgery to remove it. SCARY

I'm not sure which is my case. But when I look into the mirror, the wisdom tooth was kind of fully developed. Not sure either the wisdom teeth need to be extracted or not. Should meet a dentist since they know better. 

p/s: Having a running nose and still feel the pain due to gum's swelling while I'm writing this. T_T

Tesco Delivery

Online shopping

Life is much more easier now. 

With few clicks, you can get whatever you want.

Tesco Malaysia just launched Tesco online shopping few months ago. It was the first time in Malaysia as the other big hypermarket do not provide such service. Not even now. Maybe after they saw Tesco got huge profit from this. LOL.

It's my second time to do this. Well, need to consider lots of thing as the situation is not quite okay. Told my mum about this, she said I should be more careful, make sure they are really really the delivery man.  

The good thing is they deliver things till at door since we pay at the door. So can order heavy stuff. Haha. Besides, no need to pay cash as they also take the safety of their deliver men into consideration - people do order many things so they do pay more. This time, I bought a box of mineral water - total of 12 bottles and also other stuffs. Well, got limited strength to carry it if I bought it from the store especially when you stay at apartment.

Reunion And Having Fun

 One of my ex-classmate was coming to Shah Alam for his relative's graduation day. So he texted and called most of us who are staying in Shah Alam and nearby. It has been 1 year since the last time we met. If I'm not mistaken, it was our graduation day last year. Since this was planned last minute, only some of us could make it. We had our dinner together at Noodle Station, SACC. I wish many more could come and join us. Well, it's on weekday so I can understand if they can't make it.

As usual, while waiting for our meals, we exchanged story a.k.a the update of us. What we've done, where we're working etc. I guess everyone was hungry as we didn't talk much while having the dinner.

We just spent time for the dinner. So everyone went home after that. So, photography is a must. Then, we can upload it on social network to let others know. And yes, they are jealous of us since we met and had dinner together. Perhaps can meet them again in some other times.

Since we are outside, decided to watch Thor: The Dark World. Well, it's kind of late because the movie was released two weeks ago. Quite busy with the lab work. I don't really mind for not watching movie at the cinema. The power of internet, you can download it online. But it takes some times.

Moist Chocolate Cake

It's my first time making this moist chocolate cake. It's kind of crazy to make such cake at this hour (9.00 pm). I guess most people make a cake in the evening for hi-tea.

Made it together with my sister. Ensure that all the ingredients are in the house so that we spent less money. Hehe. Need to save much money now.

Put it in few small containers so that easy for us to eat it.

Totally worthy to be tried.

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

STRESS

Previously, we got two NMR equipments in the faculty. But due to the man's ignorance, one of them is blown up in the fire incident. So only one left for us to run our samples. NMR is quite an important for the structural confirmation especially when it comes to the new compounds. 

Currently, the waiting list for NMR is damn long. Well, each of us not only has one sample but many of them. For 1D NMR, it takes less time than 2D NMR. However, waiting for my samples' 1D 13C NMR took me ages. Well, how long to run the NMR is depends on our sample. If you got much weight per sample, less time is needed. 

Maybe I should pay so that I can get my result faster than others.
